How do you format your newsletters (i.e. template, html, feed, text)? What about timing?

We're still working on how we format our newsletters but it looks like it is coming together and we got this!

What successes have you had with the presentation and/or timing & delivery of your newsletter? (Any case studies?)

We need to have the right tools. We need to have the email service provider that works for us. At the same time, we need to understand how to reach our audience.

What challenges do you have in putting together your newsletter?

We agree that knowing our audience is essential. Some basic research can help us to meet their needs and make our newsletter more appealing to them.

What is your “to do” list for the future of your newsletter?

We seem to agree that we just need to go DO IT! Common idea, as we encourage each other.

In what way has this series helped you? What other series would you like to see on #SocialCafe #TBW?

Like we said, we are going to educate ourselves and get 'er done.

Final Thoughts and Action Steps

This has been a very engaging and helpful conversation. I hope this series was helpful to you. Feel free to ask questions, even as we move into our Video series. And, we will help you though it ;)

This SocialWebCafe Twitter Event is about: Email Marketing: Creating An Effective Newsletter

This event sponsored, in part, by our wonderful friends at:
Commun.it for Twitter Relationship ManagementWe recommend them because we love them (and their tool) and not just because we are compensated. Try it for free!

Part of your email Marketing plan includes the newsletter. You can build an impressive number of subscribers, but if you never send out a newsletter, or your newsletter is lacking, then you are not getting a return on your investment for that list.

What makes a good newsletter? Do you have all of the elements that you need for that awesome newsletter? Do you know what you want in a newsletter? For that matter, what IS a newsletter in this day and age? Come chat with us at the #SocialCafe #TBW chat and let’s discuss it!
