Getting Those Penalties Out of the Way #SEO Series #SocialCafe 3.23
- How experienced would you say you are with #SEO? (I know what it is, extremely, huh?)
It’s nice to see that we know the #SEO basics, enough to get us started, eh?
RT @FleurdeB: @TheBlogWorkshop A1 Intermediate. Basically, enough to get myself in trouble, and learning more. #TBW #socialcafe— Deborah (@socialwebcafe) June 4, 2014 | @socialwebcafe A1 I know the basics Seems confusing to really research it I just do my blog as normal #SocialCafe #TBW— NYC Style Cannoli (@nycstylecannoli) June 4, 2014 |
- What tips would you like to share about #SEO? What questions do you have about SEO?
Da Vinci brought out a good point about still focusing on the content. Also, not letting the fear derail us, but keeping focused on what matters.
A2 Tip: Don’t let the “fear” #FUD get to you.. Enjoy #SEO! #SocialCafe #TBW— Deborah (@socialwebcafe) June 4, 2014 | A2. I think at the end of the day the old cliche still rules "Content is King" Keep writing valuable and relevant content #SocialCafe #TBW— The Blog Workshop :) (@TheBlogWorkshop) June 4, 2014 |
- What sub-topic intrigues or confuses you the most re: #SEO? (i.e. links, manual penalties, everything..)
Yes! What Stacie says! Consistency is definitely important, even in areas that are not #SEO, but definitely SEO. And, just like we said in our last point, let’s not let some of the confusing terms derail us. ;) We will get there when it is time.
A3. It's a matter of being consistent in implementing proper SEO every single time. #TBW #socialcafe— Stacie Walker (@staciewalker) June 4, 2014 | A3 I think the disavows and penalties confuse people.. #SocialCafe #TBW— Deborah (@socialwebcafe) June 4, 2014 |
- What are you going to research this week, or ask in the next chat about #SEO?
Yes, I am the secret SEO Ninja. I was writing about SEO and educating others about SEO back before some of the SEO experts of today were even born. I just don’t like to brag :)
I like your idea, Pam - doing the 30 day SEO Challenge. That is a great idea and a great way to gradually build habits that will help you in the long run.
A4..I'm going to look into a 30 Day Seo Challenge! #TBW #SocialCafe— Pam (@PinkMama68) June 4, 2014 | A4 Hopefully I’ll find the time to write about SEO, as requested :) #SocialCafe #TBW— Deborah (@socialwebcafe) June 4, 2014 |
