- Now that you have a list, what’s next?
We love Jennifer's response - you mean we should have a list? What are your thoughts on the topic?

A1. A great way to keep momentum with your list is survey them, ask them what they expect/need and provide that #SocialCafe #TBW— The Blog Workshop :) (@TheBlogWorkshop) October 2, 2013 | A1. I think once you have your list it's now time to live up to the expectations of your list members #SocialCafe #TBW— The Blog Workshop :) (@TheBlogWorkshop) October 2, 2013 |
- What are your objectives for building your list?
We agree that we need relevancy and in order to do that, we need to understand our objectives. As Mary says, it is also important to understand our audience and we can do that through surveys, etc.
I try to follow up with every sign up, send my blog posts, and look for other good info to share. Work in progress. @TheBlogWorkshop #tbw— Mary Green (@MaryGreenCNY) October 2, 2013 | A2- My objective is to get leads for my services and eventual products, maybe affiliate products I promote. #SocialCafe #tbw— Mary Green (@MaryGreenCNY) October 2, 2013

- In what ways has social media helped you manage or engage your list?
As Da Vinci mentions, it is important to connect people back to your hub. That means using your email list, but also using tools like social media.
@BusyBeingJenn I will say that while sending out a blog post is good, I recommend adding content around it.. a DRAW #SocialCafe #TBW— The Blog Workshop :) (@TheBlogWorkshop) October 2, 2013 | A3. Encourage email subscribers to connect on your social networks and follow them back to continue the conversation #SocialCafe #TBW— The Blog Workshop :) (@TheBlogWorkshop) October 2, 2013 |
- After this chat how you do plan to organize and manage your list more effectively?
Marisa chimes in with agreement that we need to interact. Take that first step if necessary. Be warm and friendly :)
@TheBlogWorkshop very true, if you want interaction sometimes you have to be first person to interact w/ them! #SocialCafe #TBW— Marisa (@MoppetMissy) October 2, 2013 | A4 I plan to evaluate my tools (list management) before next week’s discussion :) #SocialCafe #TBW— Deborah (@socialwebcafe) October 2, 2013 |
