  14. Q1 What are Twitter Ethics? How about Twitter Etiquette? #B2CTweet
  15. @socialwebcafe Well, no restrictions. It could be monthly or bi monthly or may be more. I am all flexible ;) #b2ctweet
  16. Hi Jeevan @Blognetworking Great to see you here from the beginning. Glad you could make it #b2ctweet
  17. @socialwebcafe I wanted to do something different, so at least one thing is going to change with every chat. #b2ctweet
  18. A1 To me, Twitter Etiquette is how to behave within normal parameters. The difficulty is how to define that. #b2ctweet
  19. @b2ctweet I think it all depends. Now there is an set of things that the majority of people agree on - like spamming. #b2ctweet
  20. Oh no, Jeevan - there is NO consensus on what spam is even today! @Blognetworking #b2ctweet
  21. Beyond that, it's all very subjective. Take for instance: automation. I don't like automation (but, I do support semi automation). #b2ctweet
  22. @Blognetworking Good point on spamming, on how there seems to be a global consensus on that. Well, maybe the spammers don't agree #b2ctweet
  23. @GrowMap I have to agree with that, Gail ;) Definition of spam is also somewhat subjective. #b2ctweet
  24. RT @b2ctweet: Q1 What are Twitter Ethics? How about Twitter Etiquette? #B2CTweet
  25. RT @b2ctweet: Q1 What are Twitter Ethics? How about Twitter Etiquette? #B2CTweet
  26. From a businessman (Who wants profit) stand point, what matters to me is the number of followers. #b2ctweet
  27. RT @socialwebcafe: A1 To me, Twitter Etiquette is how to behave within normal parameters. The difficulty is how to define that. #b2ctweet
  28. I did find that interesting, the "take" that you were shouting, specifically, at one Tweep, Gail. I like how you handled it. #b2ctweet
  29. But, I am a blogger. So, I care more about the quality of the followers and relationship I have made. #b2ctweet
  30. A1 There are many aspects of Twitterquette that most agree on (except the spammers) #b2ctweet
  31. @GrowMap Ok. Point well taken. Not saying there is one definition, but I think there is general dislike of SPAM. #b2ctweet
  32. Actually, even businesses should only want TARGETED followers interested in what they offer @Blognetworking #b2ctweet
  33. So, the acceptable twitter behavior for me is when you try hard to make those relationships instead of plain promotional. #b2ctweet
  34. Businesses on Twitter should be focused on quality of relationships with current and potential customers #b2ctweet
  35. @GrowMap But, there aren't a lot of businesses who consider relationship building as more important (many are jumping on board) #b2ctweet
  36. Definitely there IS a general dislike of SPAM which has led to objecting many times to what is NOT spam. #b2ctweet
  37. LIKE! MT @Blognetworking: So, the acceptable twitter behavior is [to] make those relationships instead of plain promotional. #b2ctweet
  38. Do you want to make some money with #B2CTweet? Are you a blogger? See Details:  http://b2ct.me/PtVOmw w
  39. Jeevan @Blognetworking has it right >> that we should strive to build RELATIONSHIPS on Twitter NOT just promote #b2ctweet
  40. Early on businesses and even people like me did not know to focus on relationship building #b2ctweet
  41. In fact, many of us did not even know HOW to build relationships before social networking came along #b2ctweet
  42. MT @Blognetworking: The acceptable twitter behavior is when you try hard to make those relationships instead of plain promotional. #b2ctweet
  43. I wrote about how Social Networks are restoring REAL relationships >>  http://socialimplications.com/human-connections/ tionb2ctweetman-connections/ #b2ctweet
  44. Interesting point RT @GrowMap: In fact many of us did not even know HOW to build relationships before social networking came along #b2ctweet
  45. @GrowMap I kind of disagree, Gail. Because as humans we are social creatures. we may be introverts, but we always have relations #b2ctweet
  46. We have actually been CONDITIONED to be passive receivers of information NOT interacting with each other! #b2ctweet
  47. I'm glad to hear that is true for you, Jeevan, but unfortunately it is not for many, MANY Americans @Blognetworking #b2ctweet
  48. I agree that we ARE supposed to be social creatures, but TV has killed that >>  http://socialimplications.com/human-connections/ tib2ctweethuman-connections/ #b2ctweet
  49. @GrowMap Of course, it is hard to figure out the "hows" of it (there isn't a distinct how, it's just all about interaction) #b2ctweet
  50. A2 Twitter Pet Peeve #1 Offensive images and content in bios #b2ctweet
  51. @Blognetworking I can see that. I wonder if it is a matter of access to interact. But, I sometimes feel it is a pro and a con. #b2ctweet
  52. A2 Twitter pet peeve #2 People sending me JUST a link - not clicking on those - none of us should! #b2ctweet
  53. Not access because we COULD all have real relationships but most do not. #b2ctweet
  54. It is also cultural where people I know from Mexico & India for example who have big regular get togethers #b2ctweet
  55. A2 More of a human pet peeve is people thinking we can read their minds and are exactly like them - we can't & we aren't! #b2ctweet
  56. A2 @kikolani mentioned she doesn't like the new profile. can understand since she has awesome design  http://twitter.com/kikolani ikb2ctweet2ctweet
  57. @GrowMap Hahaha ;) I think that's a thought we all have had, in some point of our life! #b2ctweet
  58. Jeevan @Blognetworking I bet you get together with friends and family live, don't you? Many Americans don't. #b2ctweet
  59. @GrowMap I was referring specifically to the "information Age." Access has caused some "not to go out" and others to be social #b2ctweet
  60. A2 Yes we can throw Twitter changing things into Pet Peeves. I'm with Kristi @kikolani disliking new design #b2ctweet
  61. @GrowMap Yes, it is kind of like a custom in India to get together occassionally :D #b2ctweet
  62. @GrowMap The question is, do we dislike it because it is change? (re: Twitter design) #b2ctweet
  63. that is so cool! RT @Blognetworking: @GrowMap Yes, it is kind of like a custom in India to get together occassionally :D #b2ctweet
  64. That is the point I make in that post @socialwebcafe That ironically being ONLINE created more offline interaction #b2ctweet
  65. Before the Internet people watched TV, played video games, watched movies - all often alone #b2ctweet
  66. Now we actually INTERACT with others online which teaches us HOW to do it in real life, too. #b2ctweet
  67. @socialwebcafe But, things change a lot (Especially the the new generations who don't want to do that!) #b2ctweet
  68. No I dislike Twitter's changes because they make it less usable - actually made me finally learn to use @hootsuite !! #b2ctweet
  69. Friends from India often travel in large groups - many maybe even most Americans travel alone #b2ctweet
  70. @GrowMap I was thinking the time before video games, eras past, with box socials, community get togethers, back during party lines #b2ctweet
  71. Q3 What do you do to overcome your pet peeves on Twitter? #B2CTweet
  72. Nurse friend had friends visit the ranch from India - huge group came, brought food, rode horses. #b2ctweet
  73. If you want a regular event to take off you invite cultures who do things together because they will come regularly. #b2ctweet
  74. @Blognetworking Ah, that is sad. But, #change seems to be a part of life, good or bad. #b2ctweet
  75. @Blognetworking *are that reason ;) I am kind of a grammar guy (maybe a pet peeve!) #b2ctweet
  76. RT @b2ctweet: Do you want to make some money with #B2CTweet? Are you a blogger? See Details:  http://b2ct.me/PtVOmw w
  77. During my lifetime there has always been TV so people I know never got together regularly #b2ctweet
  78. A3 As with #Facebook, even if the change is undesirable, it doesn't do any good to overly obsess. We don't own #Twitter or FB #b2ctweet
  79. Also true that unusual people who are often bloggers were often loners before the Internet because no local people like them #b2ctweet
  80. LOL :) RT @Blognetworking: @Blognetworking *are that reason ;) I am kind of a grammar guy (maybe a pet peeve!) #b2ctweet
  81. @socialwebcafe Take for instance: If a million twitter users complained about the new design, I think Twitter may consider changes #b2ctweet
  82. Yes @TweetMyWedding you are right @hootsuite does indeed rock! Leading Twitter app for years now #b2ctweet
  83. LIKE RT @TweetMyWedding: Q3 Get over it! Join the real world and walk the dog. #b2ctweet
  84. LOL MT @TweetMyWedding A3 Get over it! Join the real world and walk the dog! #b2ctweet
  85. Don't hold your breath, Jeevan @Blognetworking They do NOT care what users think #b2ctweet
  86. We have to stop projecting caring onto corporations that simple do not and never will care what we think. #b2ctweet
  87. Some of us there aren't really many non-local people like us :-D #b2ctweet
  88. But I meant there were no local people SIMILAR to them more than locals don't like them ;-) #b2ctweet
  89. @GrowMap Yes, from a business perspective, they may not. But, there might be at least one guy in there who cares abt customers! #b2ctweet
  90. I always used Twitter interface until last change forced me to use 2-3 windows to interact #b2ctweet
  91. RT @b2ctweet: Q3 What do you do to overcome your pet peeves on Twitter? #B2CTweet
  92. RT @b2ctweet: Q3 What do you do to overcome your pet peeves on Twitter? #B2CTweet
  93. RT @b2ctweet: Q3 What do you do to overcome your pet peeves on Twitter? #B2CTweet
  94. The new design makes that even worse - moves things down the page so now I WILL use @hootsuite & @commun_it instead #b2ctweet
  95. I keep forgetting it exists because I use tools. Thnx for reminder. MT @Blognetworking: I still use the twitter interface ;) #b2ctweet
  96. RT @GrowMap: The new design makes that even worse - moves things down the page so now I WILL use @hootsuite & @commun_it instead #b2ctweet
  97. @Blognetworking Enstine has been very ill - get with me on Skype after chat and I will see what I can do #b2ctweet
  98. @socialwebcafe The twitter interface gives me the "feel" of twitter (puts me in the mood!) #b2ctweet
  99. @GrowMap I won't be available for the rest of the day or for the next 2 days (full day classes!) How about email, Gail? #b2ctweet
  100. Marian @MarianSchembari includes great tips for setting up streams in your @hootsuite in her video how-to  http://youtu.be/BJjOPDA7fzc PDb2ctweet2ctweet
  101. Skype any time is better than email because I may not see it but you're welcome to try if you prefer email @Blognetworking #b2ctweet
  102. A3 Most you have to just live with - block the offensive accounts and spammers #b2ctweet
  103. A3 Be patient and tolerant with people who think there is only ONE way to do anything (sorry - not true) #b2ctweet
  104. A4 We can only improve OUR OWN Twitter Etiquette - not others #b2ctweet
  105. A4 Set a good example and encourage people (tips, articles, videos, etc.) #b2ctweet

  114. RT @b2cparty: RT @GrowMap: A4 We can only improve OUR OWN Twitter Etiquette - not others #b2ctweet
  115. A2 Spammy DMs almost bug me more than spammy tweets. I don't use DM any more, as a result. #b2ctweet
  116. How many and who you follow depends on your goals on Twitter. I follow many more than a typical blogger or business would #b2ctweet
  117. Everyone should focus on following those most relevant to them. Much easier than having tons of followers! #b2ctweet
  118. Use @commun_it - really fun way to learn to interact effectively on Twitter  http://growmap.com/twitter-relationship-management-solution-communit/ wib2ctweetationship-management-solution-communit/ #b2ctweet
  119. I am always happy to answer questions about Twitter, share how-to links & videos, connect on Skype (only growmap there) #b2ctweet
  120. @GrowMap has a bunch of Twitter tips she has written. You can sign up to get them in your email.  http://b2ct.me/PE33Fh h b2ctweett
  121. Glad you mentioned DMs Deb @socialwebcafe If anyone knows how to block auto-DMs I'm all ears #b2ctweet
  122. I don't see most DMs because so many auto-DMs and you can't tell if they're auto or not! I want to answer what are live #b2ctweet
  123. No way I can answer all the auto-DMs I receive, but would answer personal DMs if I could tell which was which! #b2ctweet
  124. We used to use @socialtoo to block auto-DMs but that went away as far as I can tell. #b2ctweet
  125. Next week, on #B2CTweet, we will talk about collecting money on your blog. Wed 3p EDT  http://b2ct.me/PSGdzn n
