Ahhh it's all starting to make sense now, LOL! Q1 What are the G+ changes that have affected you? A1. The new covers are cool but I wish they were slightly smaller in height A1 Probably the hangout changes, but fortunately adapting didn't take long. We can help if you need it :) I do love how the home page is laid out now. Easier to navigate. I can't wait for more people to use G+ I Agreed! It's almost TOO big!! LOL, be careful what you wish for. I do love G+ though, it's got a lot of charm still. And, it is funny because the full size is not used. It is reduced. Hey Glam :), are you using G+ much? Honestly? No. I have a feed running to G+, but I did complete all the authorship stuff. Oh gosh! Yeah I definitely find it to be too big imho... I guess they had a reason behind it. Ah makes sense, is there a reason you're not using it? I missed day 1 of the conference and finally watched the recordings this weekend! Great info! I really had to sit down and analyze which social media network I want to use the most. G+ is not one of them Yay! We try to be good for something here ;) LOL ... will you be attending this month's workshop? Understandable, did you do a poll to ask your readers what they use? haha actually yes, there's another blog chat happening now I'm a sucker for a good webinar...so probably, yes! No, I used my analytics to decide where the most traffic comes from. G+ is less than 15% True... can't use literally all of them but we can automate the ones we cant/dont want to use! Awesome! has a GREAT presentation put together. Q2 What are the YouTube changes that have affected you? Since I don't utilize my personal YouTube acct (not yet anyway! I want to start a vlog series!), it hasn't. A2 The cover changes, but those rolled out for us quite awhile ago, so we had a head start. Good stuff... I know it's tough to keep up with them all, lol...you have to choose which is good for you. However, the changes did affect my job's YouTube channel! I think it looks a lot nicer though! It's a dual hashtag chat we have every Tuesday and :) We switched to the new look as soon as we could. Love the cover &our social media icons on the bottom right! Q2 What are the YouTube changes that have affected you? Did it take very long to adapt? (job's youtube channel)? No time like the present! LOL Luckily, no. I will say that I love how the playlists are featured on our channel but hate the layout... I'm not explaining it clearly but I just don't like how it's displayed &you pick between vertical/horizontal A2. We absolutely LOVE the new cover/social icons/links etc... honestly I wondered what took them so long, lol Yeah, I like the playlists... still getting used to what is where I really don't like G+ It's too complicated. A2. I think being able to have a channel trailer is awesome... your most recent video wasn't always the best to show No worries, I think everyone has preferences on the different networks. Which ones do you use most? I hear ya! I thought the same thing for a long time, stuck w/FB Really? I find G+ to be simple! I love the clean look and easy profile information format. Hey Marisa! Glad you are here ;) No I donot use either but I am considering using Google+ Q4 In what ways do you plan to use these changes to maximize your social presence? Great! I think it's a good one to get into... a lot of the shift from FB is going in that direction :) Like with many networks, once you start using it, it makes more sense & gets intuitive I need to get better about using G plus myself Q4 In what ways do you plan to use these changes to maximize your social presence? A4 Use it more! For example, interactive buttons. Just take things one step at a time :) that way things don't become overwhelming. I hope to just use G+ more frequently. I scan my feed and post regularly but I don't really dig in. All of these circles don't mean anything to me. there's no guide. It looks simple but it's not.
I think it takes a bit to get the groove.. Circles are just helpful ways to organize contacts :) It is more or less like having lists... sharing with those lists i will try not to miss this one Missed the ?
